About the Fair Employer Scheme

The Community Endorsed Fair Employer Scheme has been established to provide an opportunity for employers who respect workers rights to reach out to the community. Whilst some businesses are sponsoring WorkChoices in a bid to cut labour costs, many employers feel uncomfortable about the attack on workers rights.

The Community Endorsed Fair Employer Scheme is endorsed by:

  • Unions NSW

  • Regional 'Rights at Work' Committees

  • Fair Employers Network

Fair Employers send a message to the community that they respect workers rights and oppose laws that weaken their community by undermining job security.

To become a Fair Employer you need to agree, implement and sign the Fair Employer Declaration. Upon signing the declaration you will become part of the Fair Employers Network.
